Are you an incoming Senior High School student? Do you want to become a Doctor, a Nurse, an Architect or an Engineer in the future? Then the STEM strand is perfectly for you.

Hi! My name is Angel A. Andrin. I’m one of the graduating students under the strand of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Lumbia National High School. I made this blog to help the incoming SHS students to know more about my strand, which is STEM.
What is STEM?
STEM stand for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. This strand provides preparation for students in using science, math, engineering, and technology to solve real-life problems and advance national development.
Advantage of taking STEM as their strand
STEM education puts an emphasis on preparing future generations to be successful in their careers. The skills gained from STEM education extend beyond those needed to be successful in STEM fields, preparing children with varied interests who move into any industry to have valuable skill sets that allow them to be successful.
Under the STEM strand, students can become the following:
-Biologist
-Chemist
-Pilot
-Astrophysicist
-Architect
-Engineer
-Dentist
-Nutritionists
-Nurse
-Doctor
-Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.-
